Paying attention to the material of refining packages in the manufacturing process is one of the important factors in their design. Their design should be done according to the principles that many manufacturing and manufacturing companies in Iran make. The material of packages is usually metal, polyethylene, concrete, and composite, which are affected by factors such as the type of installation, the climate of the region, the type of pollutants, and the amount of radiation and the presence of light during the construction of package materials.
Metal package
Metal wastewater treatment packages should include litter trap, balancing tank, metal package, aeration tank, blowers, settling tank, return sludge pumping section, chlorine contact tank, and sludge digestion tank. To prevent metal packages from rotting, they are first sandblasted and then coated with Zingrich and epoxy paints. In the construction of metal package walls, steel sheets with a thickness of 6 and 8 mm are used, and for the package floor, 8 and 10 mm thickness are used.
Metal wastewater treatment package is made of carbon steel and has high strength and durability. The advantages of metal wastewater treatment packages include the following. High speed in construction and commissioning, adaptation to the climate of most parts of the country, lack of unpleasant odors due to continuous operation of aeration systems, and very high efficiency in wastewater treatment according to the standards of the Environmental Protection Organization. Metal package with galvanized body material is more popular due to lower start-up cost, portability if necessary, no odor during operation, and the possibility of increasing capacity.

Polyethylene package
Polyethylene (PE) is one of the most common man-made polymers and one of the most important advantages of polyethylene structures is their high resistance to acid in industrial wastewater materials, lightweight package structure, high speed in construction and equipment, And noted low space occupation. These packages will be very suitable in areas where there is a high percentage of moisture and the possibility of metal decay or when the system is buried. These systems are made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) which has a high durability and installation is very fast.
The purification packages are made of double-walled polyethylene pipes with diameters of 2 meters and 2.5 meters. The structures of this package are grade 10, which is produced in the form of corticosteroids and spirals. These packages are integrated for volumes of about 100 cubic meters per day, as well as in larger dimensions as modular. They are manufactured in the design factory on an industrial and modular basis. They are then transported to the project site and installed and even buried underground if necessary, and therefore have a high quality in terms of construction. Making a polyethylene package in smaller volumes will be much more economical financially compared to implementing a concrete structure.

Concrete package
When we need a large treatment plant capacity for a wastewater treatment package, a concrete wastewater treatment package is suitable. Prefabricated concrete packages for sanitary wastewater treatment are produced and installed in two parts, assembled and assembled according to the needs of the environment. Prefabricated concrete wastewater treatment package usually includes an aeration blower in which most of the treatment steps are performed. The tanks of these packages are installed on a flat bed surface and placed on a cast concrete slab.
They are made in volumes of 2 to 10 cubic meters and usually for a population density of 10 to 100 people. The advantages of these concrete packages are several. These include low operating costs, the need for minimal care, the possibility of installation under and on the ground, and their high strength and durability. Sanitary wastewater treatment concrete packages are designed with the latest wastewater treatment processes and are very resistant to instantaneous shocks. Concrete wastewater treatment package is more suitable for hotels, residential complexes and places where the volume of wastewater produced is high.

Composite package
Advanced techniques are used in the prefabricated composite wastewater treatment package, which are used to treat decentralized wastewater, as it is both completely cost-effective and FRP resistant to corrosion and pressure. The above ones are leak-proof and very durable. The principle of operation of these units is that it completely eliminates arsenic, fluoride, iron, and ammonia and even helps the growth of microorganisms.
The advantages of composite packages include several. These packages are very light and the energy consumption in them is very low. Due to the use of new technologies, odor leakage is greatly reduced and the activity of these composite packages is carried out under high pressure. Reduction of CO2, reduction of sludge and solids production, semi-automatic purification process are other advantages of composite packages.
